How to submit your event

Create an account

Sign up for a SalisburyPost account. Registration is quick and gives you access to our posting features.

Log in

Once your account has been created, log in to SalisburyPost.

Select Add Post

Go to the top-right corner of the website and select Add Post.

Choose Event

Select Event, add your information and submit your event.

What information should you add?

Give visitors all the information they need to decide whether to attend your event.

Event title Use a clear and easy-to-understand name for your event.
Date Tell people exactly when your event is taking place.
Start and finish time Include the time visitors should arrive and when the event finishes.
Location Include the venue name, address or location.
Description Explain what the event is and what visitors can expect.
Tickets and admission Tell people if the event is free or requires a ticket.
Booking information Add a booking link or explain how people can reserve a place.
Contact information Include an email address, telephone number or website where appropriate.
Event image Add a good-quality event poster or promotional image.
Accessibility information Where relevant, include useful accessibility information for visitors.
Keep it local. Events should be relevant to Salisbury, Wiltshire or the surrounding local community.
