See Space Differently CIC launches with IGNITE IN CHANGE – 17th July 2026
On Friday 17 July 2026, See Space Differently will launch with IGNITE IN CHANGE, an afternoon of creative civic activation at the Guildhall in Salisbury, bringing together architects, artists, creatives, business leaders, educators, and local stakeholders to explore how creativity can help shape the future of our places.
About
Running from 2.00pm to 7.00pm, the event is designed as a live, interactive environment where ideas, conversations and collaborations can emerge. Through talks, workshops, creative activities and informal discussion, visitors will experience the thinking and collaborative approach that sits at the heart of See Space Differently.
More than 100 participants are expected to take part throughout the afternoon, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, build new connections and discover opportunities for collaboration. Guests will hear the vision for See Space Differently first-hand, meet the people driving the initiative and explore how they can become part of its future.
The programme features contributions from leading architects, practitioners working in meanwhile and adaptive reuse, artists and creative thinkers, alongside conversations with guests who challenge conventional thinking, including a football agent, community innovators, and skateboarders.
As the afternoon moves into the evening, the event will celebrate the release of the first episode of the See Space Differently Podcast. Guests are invited to stay for drinks, live music from local young performers and a creative performance that reflects the talent, imagination and cultural energy found across the city.
IGNITE IN CHANGE is intentionally flexible. Rather than a traditional conference, delegates are encouraged to move freely between sessions, continue conversations over coffee and work remotely if needed. The aim is to create the atmosphere of an open creative studio where meaningful connections develop naturally.
See Space Differently CIC has been established to use art, architecture and creativity to help people understand, shape, and transform the places around them. By bringing different people together SSD seeks to enable meaningful change and cultural value.
