GTA 6 Now Available to Pre-Order on Xbox With UK Prices Starting at £69.99

Grand Theft Auto VI is now available to pre-order through the Microsoft Xbox Store, with Rockstar Games confirming two editions ahead of the highly anticipated November release.

The upcoming game is scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, bringing players back to Vice City in what Rockstar describes as the biggest and most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series.

According to the UK Xbox Store listing, the Standard Edition is priced from £69.99, while the Ultimate Edition starts at £89.99.

Both editions include the main game, with the Ultimate Edition offering additional content through the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.

GTA 6 Xbox prices and editions

Xbox players can currently choose between two versions of the game.

The Standard Edition costs £69.99 and includes Grand Theft Auto VI alongside the Vintage Vice City Pack.

The Ultimate Edition is priced at £89.99 and includes the main game, the Ultimate Edition Upgrade and the Vintage Vice City Pack.

Players who purchase the Standard Edition can also buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately for £20.

Pre-order bonuses revealed

Rockstar is offering additional incentives for players who purchase the game ahead of its release.

Customers who pre-order before 19 November 2026 at 23:59 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+ membership.

The bonus content includes a collection of in-game items inspired by Vice City's distinctive style.

The free GTA+ membership must be redeemed within 180 days of placing the pre-order and is limited to one redemption per platform account.

What is GTA 6 about?

Grand Theft Auto VI takes players to Leonida, a fictional American state inspired by Florida, featuring the return of the iconic Vice City.

The story follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two characters whose lives become increasingly complicated after an attempted easy criminal job goes wrong.

Caught in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida, the pair must rely on each other to survive.

Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 is a single-player experience, with the Xbox version optimised for Series X|S.

The Xbox Store also lists a provisional PEGI 18 rating, reflecting the game's mature content, including extreme violence, drugs and sexual content.

When can players download GTA 6?

Rockstar has confirmed that digital pre-loading will begin on 10 November 2026.

Xbox Series X|S players will be able to start downloading the game from midnight GMT, giving them time to prepare their consoles ahead of launch.

The pre-load will require up to 212GB of available storage space, depending on the device.

With the release date approaching, players interested in securing their copy can now visit the Microsoft Store to view the available editions and place a pre-order.
