Residents across Amesbury and surrounding villages will have opportunities to meet their local neighbourhood police officers as the Amesbury Neighbourhood Team visits several community locations between Monday 26 October and Saturday 31 October 2026.

The visits are intended to help residents speak directly with officers, discuss crime prevention advice and raise any local issues or concerns.

According to an announcement from Amesbury Police, officers will be available at a range of locations, including village halls, cafés, a church and other community venues. At some locations, officers will also be out on foot in the local community.

The programme begins on Monday 26 October, when officers will visit Collingbourne Kingston Village Hall between 10.30am and 11.30am.

On Tuesday 27 October, the team will be at Maple Coffee Shop in Durrington from 11am until noon. Officers will then visit Langford Lakes in Steeple Langford between 6pm and 7pm, followed by Middle Woodford Village Hall from 7.30pm until 8.30pm.

On Wednesday 28 October, residents can meet officers at Costa Coffee in Solstice Park, Amesbury, between 2pm and 3pm. The team will then visit Amesbury Baptist Church from 3.30pm until 4.30pm.

Thursday's visit, on 29 October, will take place at Chute's Village Hall between 10am and 11am.

The schedule continues on Friday 30 October, with officers visiting Netheravon Village Hall from 10am until 11am, followed by Larkhill Cafe on The Packway between 11am and noon.

Officers are also scheduled to visit Enford Church between 11.15am and 12.15pm, before heading to Collingbourne Ducis Village Hall from 1.15pm until 2.15pm.

Amesbury Police is encouraging residents to come along, say hello to their neighbourhood officers and take the opportunity to discuss any concerns affecting their communities.

The visits provide an opportunity for people to seek practical crime prevention advice, raise local issues and find out more about neighbourhood policing in their area.

Residents who are unable to attend their nearest session can check the Amesbury Police social media page for further updates and information about future community engagement events.
