A 26-year-old Swindon man, Dominik Pietka, of Edington Close, has been jailed for four months after admitting driving while disqualified and without insurance.
At the sentencing hearing on Wednesday (12/08) Swindon Magistrates' Court heard how on 25th July 2026 Pietka was seen driving at speed by a police officer on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 and was followed as it exited at junction 16.
His vehicle was stopped by specialist operations and Pietka was arrested for driving while disqualified and holding no insurance.
PC Craig Head said: “Pietka clearly has shown a flagrant disregard for previously imposed court orders. This custodial sentence sends a strong and clear message that such conduct is entirely unacceptable.”
