Wiltshire Police detectives investigating the death of 64-year-old Graham Pennycook are appealing urgently for dashcam footage from drivers who were in the Ludgershall area on Thursday 24 September.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area between 9am and 6pm that day, even if they do not believe their recording contains anything relevant to the investigation.

Police have identified several roads where they are seeking footage, including Somme Road, the unnamed road bordering the polo field, Shoddesden Lane and the A3026, the main road through Ludgershall.

Graham Pennycook was found deceased in woodland near the polo field, close to Perham Down, on the afternoon of Thursday 24 September.

His death is being treated as suspicious and a murder investigation remains ongoing.

Detectives are particularly interested in footage recorded between 10am and 11am, although anyone who travelled through the area between 9am and 6pm is being asked to check their dashcam recordings.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker, of Wiltshire Police's Major Crime Investigation Team, said dashcam recordings could contain information that may assist the investigation.

Police are asking motorists not to assume that footage is irrelevant. Even recordings which appear to show nothing unusual could potentially help detectives establish movements in the area.

Anyone with dashcam footage is asked to upload it through the dedicated police website. Officers have also said that people who are unsure how to upload footage can provide their contact details so a member of the investigation team can assist them.

Anyone who may have information that could help the investigation can contact Wiltshire Police on 101.

Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who was in or around the polo field and surrounding woodland in the Ludgershall and Perham Down area on Thursday 24 September to come forward.

The dedicated police website for uploading information and footage is available here
