Man in his 20s dies following collision near Amesbury
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage following a two-car collision on the A3028 Double Hedges near Bulford on Wednesday evening (14 October), in which a man in his 20s sadly died.
A man in his 20s has sadly died following a road traffic collision on the A3028 Double Hedges, near Bulford, on Wednesday evening (14 October).
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 8.45pm following a collision involving a Mercedes-Benz CLA travelling towards Durrington and a Volkswagen T-Cross travelling towards Bulford.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the driver of the Mercedes was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist family liaison officers.
The road was closed overnight while collision investigators carried out enquiries.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
