Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches with upgraded visuals and new pirate adventures

Ubisoft has officially released Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, bringing one of the franchise's most beloved pirate adventures to a new generation of players with enhanced graphics, improved gameplay and brand-new content.

The remake returns players to the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, where they once again take on the role of Edward Kenway, a pirate captain who becomes caught in the centuries-old conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.

Built using Ubisoft's latest Anvil engine, Black Flag Resynced features significantly upgraded visuals, including ray tracing, improved lighting, dynamic weather, enhanced character animations and faster loading times. The remake also introduces updated combat, smoother parkour, refined stealth mechanics and expanded naval gameplay.

Players can recruit new officers for the Jackdaw, discover additional shipwrecks through expanded underwater exploration and complete new missions that build on the original story while keeping the classic pirate experience at its core.

The game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, giving longtime fans and newcomers the chance to experience one of the highest-rated Assassin's Creed titles with modern technology and gameplay improvements.

Early reviews have praised the remake for preserving the spirit of the 2013 original while enhancing exploration, naval battles and overall gameplay for today's hardware.
