A property in Tidworth has been served with a three-month closure order following repeated reports of drug-related activity, anti-social behaviour and public order incidents.

Wiltshire Police successfully applied for the order at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Friday, targeting an address in Collins Court after months of concerns from local residents.

The closure order means that only the named occupant, emergency services and authorised housing association representatives are permitted to enter the property. Anyone else who enters the address could be committing a criminal offence and may be arrested.

Police said there had been 21 incidents and intelligence reports linked to the property since March 2026. Many of the reports involved suspected drug use, visits from known drug dealers and anti-social behaviour that was having a significant impact on neighbouring residents.

PC Kinge said the repeated incidents had caused ongoing concern within the local community and that the behaviour would not be tolerated. He said officers hope the closure order will help bring an end to the problems while reassuring nearby residents.

Wiltshire Police will continue to carry out regular patrols to ensure the conditions of the order are being followed. Officers have also confirmed they will continue working closely with the housing association and other partner agencies if further action is needed once the order expires.

Closure orders are designed to protect communities from properties associated with persistent criminal activity and nuisance behaviour. Police say they remain committed to tackling drug crime and anti-social behaviour across Wiltshire to help keep neighbourhoods safe.
